Restoration works in Milan and its province

When it comes to theaters, we must first of all think about functionality, technology and safety. But how to apply these directives in a small building inserted in a private and historical context, in a state of abandonment and neglect?

Simple: setting itself the goal of combining technology with history and beauty, to bring back to life a jewel of Milanese cultural life with a precious structure. This important historical building, located near the courthouse, is an important presence in one of the busiest squares in Milan.



The building insists on four streets and, due to previous restoration interventions, it was crumbling in all its precious decorative facade elements. After an accurate study, also supported by the Mapei technical office, the best intervention methodology was identified to reconstruct the recoverable artifacts in situ, and limit the total replacement interventions, restoring the original majesty to the entire complex. avoid further future degradations have been inserted and years after their application the results are still visible.

After having demolished it with a very innovative intervention, a continuity was created with the historical façade below by creating an attic wall. Behind which there are actually magnificent offices, which now enjoy a spectacular view of the historic center



The intervention, carried out with the building entirely rented, also saw a reinterpretation of the facade with a meticulous restoration and a study of colors The harmonious whole seems to be native and not the result of a profound transformation as was the intent of the client
